Founder & CEO
Carey Missler is a Canadian entrepreneur, filmmaker, and inventor — and the founder of MSLR Electric Inc., the company behind Halo Efoils. He’s a pioneer in clean-marine technology, developing premium electric hydrofoil boards featuring innovations like the patented MSLED® lighting, M-Jet™ propulsion, and the VertiDrive™ adjustable mast. Before Halo, Carey produced acclaimed water-sports films such as The Paddler and The Canadian Surfer Movie, blending creativity with engineering. Today, he’s leading Halo’s expansion into local battery manufacturing, global partnerships, and efoil training programs that position Canada at the forefront of electric watercraft innovation.

Cecilia Lopez is the Operations Manager at Halo Efoils, based in San Diego, California. With extensive experience in CRM systems, logistics, and customer relations, Cecilia ensures smooth coordination across Halo’s dealer network, service programs, and day-to-day operations. Her background in efoil technology and client management allows her to bridge technical performance with exceptional customer experience, supporting Halo’s mission to deliver innovation and reliability on the water.
