 Halo PowerCore™ System

Canadian-Designed. Built for the Future of Foiling.

🇨🇦 Engineered in Canada for Canadian Waters

The Halo Powercore System™ is our next major innovation — a Canadian-designed and built lithium power platform developed to deliver higher efficiency, safer operation, and faster serviceability for the next generation of Halo efoils.

This project marks a major milestone in Halo’s evolution: transitioning from imported cell integration to locally engineered, serviceable, and warrantied battery systems — built right here in Canada.

Partnering with local battery engineers and leading materials specialists, Halo’s new pack combines structural precision, intelligent power management, and marine-grade protection in a platform purpose-built for North American riders and global export compliance.

 Design Philosophy

The Halo Powercore System™ was created around three core goals:

1: Local Reliability: Fast warranty turnaround and local tech support for Canadian customers.

2: Durability: Every enclosure is designed for IP68 water resistance, vibration isolation, and temperature stability.

3: Serviceability: Modular design enables quick battery pack access for inspection, replacement, or repair — no overseas downtime.

The casing combines aerospace-grade aluminum and fiber-reinforced nylon to balance weight and strength.
Inside, each pack uses a 10P configuration of Samsung 21700 40T cells, chosen for their high discharge capability, consistency, and long-term reliability.

 Intelligent Power. Built for Halo.

The integrated Smart-BMS continuously monitors voltage, temperature, and current flow, communicating with the Halo controller via Bluetooth telemetry.
This allows riders and technicians to view real-time cell data, charge cycles, and health status, ensuring both safety and performance under demanding marine conditions.

Combined with Halo’s next-generation propulsion systems, the new battery platform will enable faster charge times, longer sessions, and a cleaner service experience — all while maintaining compliance with Transport Canada and CE marine standards.

 Future Compatibility

The Halo Powercore System™ will power the entire future Halo ecosystem — including upcoming versions of:

  • Halo Phantom Efoil

  • Halo Wake Thief™ & Moto Assist (v2 integration)

  • VertiDrive™ adaptive mast systems

This modular approach ensures that one battery architecture can serve multiple product lines, simplifying logistics, scaling production, and future-proofing Halo’s manufacturing strategy.

The Next Chapter in Clean Marine Power

Halo’s Canadian battery initiative is more than a performance upgrade — it’s a shift in sustainability and supply chain independence.

By designing and assembling batteries locally, Halo strengthens quality control, supports Canadian clean-tech manufacturing, and reinforces its position as a leader in safe, intelligent, and serviceable electric watercraft systems.
